Yes. SnapTax supports both married filing jointly and separately. • If filing jointly, you can include your spouse’s income (W-2 or 1099) • Your spouse’s income is entered as an annual estimate (not tracked in real time) • This works well for couples with mixed income types If filing separately, SnapTax treats each person as an individual user.

Yes. SnapTax works well if you have: • A full-time job (W-2) and freelance income • Multiple 1099 income streams - if you combine all your 1099 income into SnapTax. It will not track Profit and Loss for each 1099 business. You can combine all income sources to get a complete, real-time view of your tax liability.

Not yet. SnapTax currently does not support capital gains or loss tracking. This is planned as a future feature in the Scale bundle.

Right now, SnapTax supports one primary business per user. • If married filing jointly, a spouse’s income can be included - self employed or W2 income • However, only one business receives full, real-time tracking Future versions will support multiple businesses and users with granular tracking for each.

No. SnapTax does not support payroll processing or W-2 employee management. It is designed for solo operators and independent earners.

No. SnapTax is not a payment processor or invoicing tool. You can track income from platforms like Stripe, PayPal, and Venmo, but SnapTax does not send invoices or collect payments.

No. SnapTax is not designed for: • Inventory tracking • Job costing or project-based accounting It is best suited for simple service-based businesses.

SnapTax is built for simple small business setups. If your business involves complex equity structures or advanced accounting needs, it may not be the best fit. However, your entity type (LLC, S-Corp, etc.) does not automatically disqualify you — simplicity of operations matters most.
